Welcome to Blakesley Pre-School Playgroup

Introduction

This website is designed to give you some useful information about the playgroup and makes your child’s initial days at playgroup easier.

Blakesley Playgroup has been running successfully for the past 35 years. The playgroup is run by a committee of staff and parents. All parents are invited to join the committee, which is primarily devoted to raising funds. We run various events throughout the year and welcome all help from parents. As a parent you can be involved as much or as little as suits you. If you would like to find out more about joining the committee feel free to talk to anyone at playgroup.

Our aim is :

• To enhance the development and education of children under statutory school age in a parent-involving, community-based group

• To provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment

• To work within a framework which ensures equality of opportunity for all childen and families.

We offer your child:

• A specially tailored curriculum leading to the early learning goals

• Individual care and attention made possible by a high ratio of adults to children

• Fun and friendship with children and other adults

• The support of a personal keyworker

• Opportunities for you and your family to be directly involved, in the activities of the group and in your own child's progress.
