Staff

We have an excellent group of staff at the pre-school who are committed to good childcare. Our full-time members of staff are Michelle Clayton and Melanie Bailey. We will be recruiting for a third member of staff later in the year when our numbers increase. Michelle has NVQ level 3 in Early Years Care and Development, and will be studying to complete her level 4 in 2009. Melanie is waiting to start her NVQ level 3 training later this year. Michelle has a 3 year old son and Melanie has 2 older children at secondary school and a third child at the village school. We are a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance who have awarded us Quality Accreditation, and we are registered with the Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership and realise that training is a priority. We are up to date with current training strategies and the staff are encouraged to attend any extra courses which are of interest to pre-school and to pursue training and study opportunities.
